Description
The 2017 Trek Superfly AL Rigid Frameset is a lightweight, race-ready hardtail platform designed for cross-country performance. Constructed from Alpha Platinum Aluminum, this frame offers efficient power transfer, durability, and responsive handling—all while keeping weight low. The geometry is tuned for fast rolling 29er wheels (or 27.5" SIZE SMALL ), and it’s designed around a rigid or 100mm suspension fork.
With 142x12mm Closed Convert dropouts, a PF89.5 press-fit bottom bracket shell, and internal cable routing, this frameset provides a clean and modern build platform. It accepts a 27.2mm seatpost, features a tapered head tube, and is compatible with post-mount disc brakes. This version is non-Boost, so it's ideal for riders looking to build a high-performance cross-country bike using legacy drivetrain and wheel standards.
